Unlike older iOS versions, the earlier versions come with the new emoji automatically added, however, you have to "activate" them. Let's see how.

Step 2: Scroll down until you find Emoji and add it.

ReplyDeleteJust install a new emoji, it will add the new ones; the fact you have installed it previously doesn't affect anything so you don't need to worry about it.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, if you're running iOS 6 any emoji app will have the new ones already so you don't have to do anything else than downloading any emoji app from the AppStore.
