Some people may have been asking themselves how to logout from Twitter app on iPhone/iPad so I'll tell you how to do it.
Well, you can't really do it!
Don't panic yet! I'll tell you some... let's call them tricks... to logout from your account on an iDevice's Twitter app.

1º Method: People who don't have iOS 5 only!
Step 1: Open the Twitter app.
Step 2: On the main timeline, click on the Accounts button.
Step 3: Hit the Edit button.
Step 4: Hit the minus symbol next to the account you wanna logout from and hit Remove.
Note: To log back in, all you need to do is hitting the + button and add your account information!

2º Method: People who have iOS 5 only!
Step 1: Go to Settings on your iDevice and tap on Twitter.
Step 2: Hit the account you want to delete.
Step 3: Scroll down until you find the Delete Account button and tap it.
Note: This won't delete your actual Twitter account, it will only remove it from your iDevice's app.
Note 2: To log back in, just tap Add Account and add your account information.

By following these steps you'll logout from Twitter's app on your iDevice.
We have to admit it's a stupid way to logout from it, but Twitter didn't provide a logout button on its' app yet as far as I know so this all we can do.

On the phone, simply go to settings, then Twitter, and at the allow box, switch to off.
ReplyDeleteThis removes your account details from the Twitter app.
When you go back to the Twitter app, click "don't allow" to remain signed out or "OK" to log back in.
Alternatively you can log back in by going back to your settings and changing the "allow" setting to "On".
Note that there is no "sign out" option on the Twitter app itself.
The old method of deleting your account within the Twitter app is no longer possible.
